                              RESOLUTION NO. 21385
                 
                 
                 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AN AMENDMENT TO THE 
                 AGREEMENT WITH CONSOLIDATED TECHNOLOGIES, INC. 
                 FOR ADDITIONAL ENGINEERING SERVICES RELATIVE TO 
                 GAS SYSTEM IMPROVEMENTS AT SUMMIT LANDFILL, SO 
                 AS TO EXTEND THE CONTRACT TIME TO MAY 31, 1997, 
                 AND TO INCREASE THE CONTRACT AMOUNT BY TWENTY- 
                 FIVE THOUSAND, EIGHTY-SEVEN DOLLARS 
                 ($25,087.00).
                 
                 
                                                     
                 
                 
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF 
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, that there be and is hereby authorized an 
       amendment to the Agreement with Consolidated Technologies, Inc. 
       for additional engineering services relative to gas system 
       improvements at Summit Landfill, so as to increase the contract 
       time to May 31, 1997, and to increase the contract amount by 
       $25,087.00, for a revised contract total of $81,367.00.
